This $1000 Ice Cream Sundae Comes Topped With a Gold Ring

When it comes to ice cream, some people prefer vanilla and some people prefer chocolate. Heck, some people even prefer flavors based off of popular erectile dysfunction medications. However, where are the people who prefer their ice cream topped with sweet, sweet gold? They are most assuredly out there, according to this swank Manhattan eatery.

Chef Sebastien Chamaret at meatpacking district restaurant Bagatelle has just unveiled a dessert called 'Mauboussin Mega Sundae' or the 'Jay Z of Desserts' depending on who you ask. It starts with plain old vanilla ice cream that is then joined by chocolate truffles, homemade macarons, Dom Perignon Rose sorbet, whipped cream, chocolate vodka sauce, gold leaves and brownies that have also been specked with gold. Oh, just in case that didn't wow you, it also comes with a white gold ring that you can wear around town, thus proving your eternal love of desserts.

All of this costs a whopping $1,000! Whoa. If your bank account can handle it, point your diamond-studded iPhone over to Bagatelle.
