Sugar Showdown Takes Over Food Network’s Snapchat Discover

By: Cooking Channel

Craving something sweet? We’ve got just the show takeover of Food Network’s Snapchat Discover page to satisfy your sweet tooth. Sugar Showdown and host Josh Elkin will take over starting at 6am ET today, October 19 – but for only 24 hours.

If you’re not familiar with how Snapchat Discover works, here’s a quick outline. Download the Snapchat app (for iPhone and Android), if you haven’t already. Swipe right once (past your camera view) and you’ll see the Stories page. At the top you’ll see a list of mini magazines produced daily just for Snapchat users. Find the Food Network tile (our logo will be at the top!) and tap. If you love what you read and watched, don’t forget to swipe up to subscribe at the end!

But what can you anticipate from the Sugar Showdown takeover of our Snapchat Discover page? Expect genius ideas for squeezing dessert into breakfast, behind-the-scenes looks at unique creations crafted by the Season 2 competitors and so much more. But don’t delay — at the end of the day, all of the backstage access and exclusive hand-picked content will vanish forever.

If you find yourself wanting more sweet and delicious content, come back to the Food Network Snapchat Discovery page every morning for the best advice from the top sources, trending food news stories, behind-the-scenes content and more. And you never know which fun and intense competition series will take over next.
