Pantry: Brunch Essentials

Every Saturday and Sunday morning, there's a possibility for brunch. Bobby keeps these brunch staples on hand to avoid early-morning trips to the market.

Eggs. Few brunches dishes are without eggs. They're important not only for savory dishes like eggs Benedict, frittatas and omelets but also for sweet favorites like waffles and pancakes.

Flour.
Whether you're making waffles, pancakes, crepes or biscuits, flour is essential.   

Sugar.
For breakfast sweets, from waffles to pancakes to muffins to doughnuts, this ingredient is a must. Fill up your sugar bowl for those who swirl it into their coffee and tea.  

Honey.
This natural sugar alternative is fantastic to use in batters, and it doubles as a topper for berries or thick Greek yogurt.  

Coffee.
There's no better aroma than freshly brewed coffee. Don't start your breakfast or brunch without it!

Milk. Milk is an essential for many people's coffee and tea, and it's also an integral part of pancake, waffle and quick bread batters.

Hot Sauce. Bobby's wife, Stephanie, can't eat eggs without hot sauce, so he always keeps it on hand for weekend mornings.  Spice up breakfast casseroles, frittatas and more.
