This recipe is a keeper for me. I made these last night and my husband loved them! and they were so easy to make! I did not have toasted coconut so I toasted mine in a preheated 350 degree F oven until the edges of the coconut were golden, stirring occasionally. I also added a 3/4 cup of chopped toasted walnuts and added the zest of two oranges in order to get the two tbs of zest called for in the recipe. Give this recipe a try they are a true comfort to eat in the morning with coffee or tea.
