This recipe is a cannot fail way to achieve a good result with a prime or regular rib roast.

I have used this method for several years now and receive rave reviews! I make a more complex gravy with a little thickener. The roast beef always comes out perfectly.

The roast was good, no question about that. I did not think it was outstanding however and for me to say that about Alton is a first. Would I serve it to family? Yes. would I pay 25 or 30 bucks for it in a nice restaurant? Nope.
