Alton - you've done it again!! This is by far, the BEST onion dip I've ever tasted! Caramelizing the onions added a layer of sweetness you don't get in packaged dips. I used Videlia onions, low fat sour cream and low fat mayonaise, and added a bit more garlic powder, and it was an instant smash at our Labor Day cookout. It's fantastic on burgers and brats, too!
