I really liked this preparation method. The oats were very good, and while it was my first time making steep cut oatmeal I feel that the recipe was very successful. Now this is the way to eat oatmeal.

Love, love, love this recipe! I've made it as written, many times. A little time consuming ,but easy and well worth it. Creamy and full of flavor & texture. Best thing is I make a double batch and store it in the fridge. (I reuse a couple of lg yogurt containers for this. It lasts all week, warms up by the bowlful in the microwave, is quick and still tastes wonderful. Such a healthy, yummy, time saver!
If you like oatmeal... this is the best way to enjoy it by far.
