I tried this wonderful pie over the Thanksgiving Holiday. I got rave reviews. It was easy to to make. My sweet potatoes were not watery they were firm. I will never go back to boiling them again steaming is the way to go!!! I think if i used a little bit more sugar this pie will be the new all American Pie!!! See ya later Apple Pie!!

Absolutely delicious! I added about a teaspoon of vanilla to the mix. This is a keeper!

Loved how easy this was to put together and the topping was a perfect compliment for the sweet potatoes, but the filling was a little "tangy" for my taste. I'm wondering if there is a substitute for the plain sour cream that would result in a more mild flavor in the filling? I'd definitely try this again if I could figure that part out.
