These brownies are excellent! They are rich and delicious with a hint of spices. I actually cut the recipe in half, baked it in a 8x8 pan at 325 for 30-32 minutes and tested with toothpick and they turned out great. I used half dark chocolate chips and half semi sweet choc chips. Will just try semi sweet next time and reduce the sugar a bit. I used ground spices instead of whole ones as I did not want the crunchy texture in the brownies. Might increase the spices a little next time. I did not use the white chocolate ganache as it seemed like it would be too much sweetness. They are great without the ganache.
