These pickles are really good, unique tasting and easy to make. I didn't do the sterilizing and canning with jars. I waited until it was completely cooled and then put it in a large plastic bowl with a lid and kept it in the refrig. I found this to be easier. The pickles have a really nice depth of flavor and are more rich and savory than Italian giardinieri(sp. Definitely will make again.
