  • 2 whole cloves
  • 2 green cardamom pods
  • 1 black cardamom pods
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 4 cups water
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions

Put the cloves, green cardamom pods, black cardamom pods, ginger, sugar, black tea, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Pour in the milk and bring to a boil again. Strain the liquid into teacups.
