Prepare biscuits according to package directions. Brown ham in a skillet; remove ham and add chicken broth. Stir to scrape browned bits of cooked ham. Add cream and bring to a simmer. Cook until reduced. Mix flour and butter and stir into cream mix. Blend well to prevent lumps and to avoid having to strain sauce. Stir in cheese over low heat until melted. Cut biscuits in half (across, not down). Place a slice of ham in each biscuit and serve smothered with sauce.
