Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Add the oil, agave nectar and applesauce directly into the dry ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake on the center rack until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 20 minutes.
For the pizza: Beat the cream cheese, sugar and pineapple together in a bowl with a spatula. Spread the mixture over the cooled brownie crust. Arrange the strawberry and banana slices over the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with the chopped walnuts. Freeze for at least 30 minutes. To serve, slice as you would a pizza, and enjoy!

I made this yesterday for a Super Bowl party, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! After reading some of the reviews, I was afraid that this wouldn't taste as good as it looked but it really does. To start with, I used regular AP flour and honey instead of agave. I used an 8-inch pan (because that's what I have, and ended up baking it for a total of 29 minutes. Now, some of the review had me scared about the sweetness of the brownie so I drizzle chocolate sauce over the cooled brownie before adding the other toppings. The sauce was a nice addition but don't think it was totally necessary. The brownie is drier, more dense, and crumbly than I'd prefer in a brownie, but it was perfect as the base for this dessert. The cream cheese and fruit have a lot of moisture so that strong, dense cake layer help up really well to that. I am absolutely making this again!

YUM! Very easy recipe, and quite tasty! Wouldn't know it was wheat free and vegan by tasting it :. I didn't do all the toppings...instead made a chocolate cream cheese frosting by adding 1/2 c powder sugar, 1/4 c coco powder and 2 T milk to 8 oz whipped cream cheese.

20 minutes @ 325 was not long enough in the Oven, somebody said bland ? There right these Brownies have to be the most bland tasting Brownies I have ever had or made. They need more sweetener, and maybe more chocolate taste, however they are very moist. These are not very good eaten straight, if you make this recipe, make the Banana Spilt Brownie Pizza. Nobody makes better Brownies than Ina Garten, Outrageous Brownies is the best !
