    These were rather good. Instead of milk, I used Greek yogurt and they were a bit tangy. Yum! Also, I used pickles jalapeños because I love them. I didn't go buy the special flour or corn meal, just used my plain ole Southern self rising stuff. Even the 12-year-old liked them.

    Next time, instead of using oil and the cast iron skillet, I will try my non-stick electric skillet. It works great on pancakes so why not.
