This was delicious. I didnt have heirloom tomatoes so I just used some good tomatoes I had.

The whole family (6 of us, three generations loved this simple and comforting sandwich for Brunch and/lunch. Good for a late night snack, also. One problem, is that it is very adictive

Loved the fact that all ingredients are grilled, toasted & melted before assembling. This truly brought out the natural flavors coupled with the fresh herbs.

Forget what you thought u knew about ham & cheese sandwiches. This is by far the best ever. Easy to assemble, great 4 a crowd and easily reheatable w/o compromising the integrity of the dish.(Make extras, you'll need them Way 2 go, Bobby!!!
