This recipe is very tasty. The pancakes are light and infused with the flavors of the apple and sausage. The walnut butter recipe to accompany the pancakes is scrumptous. I used our favorite regular pancake syrup in the recipe; I'm sure the pure maple syrup would be excellent. I placed the extra pancakes in the refrigerator along with the walnut butter for a midnight snack. This is definitely one of our favorite pancake recipes: I think the grandchildren will love them as much as we do. Good work Brigitte.
