    Used to make shortbread with my British Grandmother as a child... this makes me think of that. Besides that it is filled with deliciousness! Thank you Gale... i added cinnamon to the top with the sugar. Love doing it with parchmont, was able to slip it off the pan onto the counter and cut with my Pizza wheel leaving the finish of my pan on the pan :

    Easy to make. Turned out delicious, will keep this recipe.
    Simple, yet tasty! Only problem was I could not find
    In the directions where to add the cinnamon, sprinkled on top or with flour. I opted for
    With the flour and cornstarch. Worked out well, just a subtle hint of it in the shortbread.
