I thought that this recipe was tasteless and the filling was soupy. I usually love Tyler's recipes but I'll never make this one again..Also it was'nt because of my lacking ability to cook, I have been cooking for 50 years and have written my my own family cookbook because of the requests I have gotten for my recipes. Sorry Tyler but I would have to make alot of changes to this recipe.

This recipe is so easy, but it isn't a 30 minute meal. It takes the full time suggested, but it is so worth it. The brilliance of this recipe has to be the "sharability" factor. It's easy to make several for sick neighbors and such. I did use the Pillsbury frozen crust instead of puff pastry, and we loved it. Try this recipe. You'll make it over and over again.
