I have a new love in my life. Chuck! I watched this episode while I was back In the USA. I took some short cuts on the Banoffee Pie. I am not a hugh dessert person but I was so drawn by this recipe. In any case, I have just returned from a trip from Hong Kong and was so excited to have the room and equipment to cook. I love the fact that I put a can of condensed milk in water and, BAM, toffee! I purchased Plantains Madura as well as prepared graham cracker crust with ground Oreos. Rave reviews and my family knows me, I do not do desserts unless they really catch my eye. Chuck is a genius! But, loose the bike. We cannot afford to lose you. Jewish Mother and worries when I hear that you hurt yourself!

@ voo doo mama- The frosting stays in the cookies. When the toffee is cooked it is a thick liquid. It's not like hard English toffee.
