    I have made this recipe several times now. It is so good. People rave about it! The only tweeks that I made were adding fresh herbs such as thyme bundles and bay to the broth before putting it in the oven. If you are in a hurry to get the sauce to thicken, use a little flour or cornstarch slurry to help it along. Great recipe Chuck!

    Fantastic recipe! I loved the addition of the beets, cocoa powder, cinnamon and brown sugar. There were more layers of flavor from the usual mirepoix /tomato paste ver for braised shortribs.

    Fantastic! I have made this entire meal twice. Follow recipe exactly, and allow time for the gorgeous demi-glace to cook down. This presents beautifully, guests love every bite, and it satisfies the comfort food need!

    This meal kicks *****, I followed it out the window and it was a hit that was unbelievable.
    chuck nailed it and everyone loved it. The gravy was like the best Mole ever, the meat was the tenderest, along with the green beans, poached tomatoes and the garlic mashed. As you can tell everyone loved it!!
