I made a bourbon caramel sauce...from scratch! This recipe made me realize I can make a pretty serious dessert in very little time with no real work. Loved how the caramel turned into a shell on the vanilla ice cream and the crunchiness of the graham cracker crumbs against the softness of the pears.

I made this minus the crumbs to use a a filling for dessert crepes.The only thing I changed to make it perfect was to add a pinch of cinnamon

i love caramelized pears. i saw some pears in the kitchen, and wanted to caramelize them and put them on a salad, so i googled how o make them and this recipe came up. I made them the same night. OMG it was so good and easy. and i had them under butter pecan ice cream. so, so, so good. i cant wait to make this for my Boo.

Saw this on the show yesterday and made it last night. So simple, yet delicious! This will become a go-to for dessert in a pinch. Yum!
