    The first time I made perfect onion rings! I didn't have seltzer water so I put a tablespoon of baking soda into the batter and used ice water. The batter held up and my family was thrilled. My husband and I agree the you are the best chef on TV with the most original recipes! Keep 'em coming!

    these are absolutely PHENOMENAL! and so easy!
    I made my batter just a pinch thicker than Chuck's, and no cayenne, but the rest the same, and they're SO good!
    Restaurant quality, light, flaky, the onion is tender and almost gone, but lightly sweet and SO tasty. I've never made a review like this lol
    I'm so happy to have found a great onion ring recipe since a restaurant with my favorite to-go onion rings closed!
    Make sure your oil is HOT enough though.

    These onion rings were awesome!! "Onion" should be tattooed on my arm since i love them that much! these were light and crunchy and delicious! i only changed the soda to dark beer and added hot sauce, they were perfect!!

    great recipe! works with mushrooms and jalapenos. I like single application batters. 8/10
