For the cornbread there is an error in the amount of water. I reduced the amount from 1 1/2 cups to 1 cup plus 2 tbsp and this gave a nice dough ball. After this correction the bread is very tasty.

Something is soooooooooo wrong with the cornbread recipe. I am an amazing home cook and tried this recipe twice. Was HORRIBLE!!! Was my first recipe I tried from Chuck and it is definitely the last. If you can't give us good basic bread, why bother!
