I used canned beans instead of dried. The veal chops were out of this world! This is another go to dish now. Thanks Chuck!

I too tried the dried beans and they were not done after 30 min as the recipe said.

Wonderful hearty meal! This is a keeper recipe. I could not find Veal Chops, so I used large Pork Chops bone-in. It turned out perfectly. Thanks Chuck for a great combination of flavors, and easy too.

Wonderful combination! Tried this last night (along with the Killer Caesar Salad, which also was terrific.. I used canned cannellini, which was really convenient and worked out quite well. The simple garlicky crostini were the perfect addition to the chop and the beans both for texture and for presentation. The plate looked every bit as good as it all tasted. Definitely a keeper.

Tastes awesome! However, I used dried beans, soaked overnight, as the written recipe says, and they were nowhere near done after 30 minutes in the oven. I want to see the episode again because I'm wondering if there is an error in the written version?
