The brownies were only OK to me, but the frosting is amazing! I use the frosting on Beatty's chocolate cake recipe, provided by Ina Garten. The combination of that soft, moist, flavorful cake and this smooth and not-too-sweet frosting is heavenly. I've made it about 10 times, and the cake disappears within a couple hours. So good!

A very good recipe with a grown up taste. I made it with caramel chips baked on top in lieu of the frosting. I'll keep this one.
