    I didn't have time to go to thepacky, so I just added some spritzer. They are delicious!! They are so moist!! I actually love them so much that I find them better plain with a glass of mild than with the frosting! The frosting, though, is great too! I am going to make these again. No doubt there. Anyone who said they are no good made them wrong. Next time will make them with the beer.

    Excellant cupcakes, dense , not as chocolately as I thought they would be, will make again and as always will try to cut back on the fat. The frosting is great and will make that again.

    I've never made cupcakes before, although I am a baker. These cupcakes are AMAZING! They are so moist, the icing is perfect for them, and they are easy to make. Win, win!

    My husband took them into a work carry-in and everyone wanted the recipe. I will make these again!

    I just baked these and oh my goodness are they yummy!! The first words out of my mouth were "I'm going to make these ALL the time, thank you Chuck!!". I'm not a baker, hate to measure, but these were simple and I had most of the ingredients.

    Very tasty, But- when you mix melted butter with stout and eggs you get little beads of butter, (not smooth batter. That threw me off, but I baked them anyway and they turned out well. I think that you could use veg. oil and get the same results. This batter is very thin but I guess it's supposed to be. I'll make them again, and try oil instead of butter then.

    The most amazing cupcake I have ever eaten. They are moist and everything a cupcake should be. The white frosting adds a diversion from the chocolate for a real sweet treat.
