This was my first homemade pasta sauce, so that alone was something for me to celebrate. I was thrilled at how easy it was to simmer the sauce and, most importantly, how delicious the final product was. The onions add a delightful texture to a sauce which is both rich and sweet. The whole family agreed that even on my first pass the sauce was better than anything we could buy off the shelf.
