This recipe is FANTASTIC and I make it about twice a month! It is delicate, very light, easy to prepare, and reheats well. I've recently prepared it with a little extra garlic, cannelllini beans, and a pinch of saffron for a little variation. My husband is not a huge fan of calamari and enjoys it too. Thank you David and I look forward to preparing more of your recipes.

This recipe is seriously flawed: incorrect ingredient amounts, lack of specifics, insufficient cooking time. I had to doctor this recipe quite a bit to avoid throwing a whole dinner in the trash. Removed the squid after 30 mins, added additional tomatoes and their juice, cooked until the potatoes were tender, reduced the sauce by at least 2/3 and re-added the squid just to warm it through at the end. Delicous, but not the recipe as written.
