    I have made them at Christmas time the last few years and people love them. They are awesome!, chewy & rich. I save them for the grow ups! ;). You can refrigerate the dough and make them as you need them too!

    Love these - so do people everytime I take to a party
    A TIP - you can buy espresso powder at Amazon - I keep a wish list on Amazon of cooking products that are hard to find then everytime I make a purchase on Amazon I add what ever I'm low on to get to my free shipping amount

    I couldn't find instant espresso at the store I was in so used freeze dried coffee instead. This were GREAT!!!

    Yummy! Love this cookie - not too sweet and Italian inspired to boot! A hint or two - I doubled the recipe and found that when I went to roll out the balls the dough became too soft too quickly. So I worked in small batches and kept a small bowl of water nearby to wet my fingers. I rolled 12 balls at a time and while they baked, put the dough back in the freezer. Got the hang of it by the end!

    I love this cookie. It is dense and has a strong and balanced chocolate and espresso flavor. I will be making this one often. The recipe is very easy. Be sure the dough is well chilled and work in small batches. I wouldn't change a thing.
