This was amazing! This will be a new staple in our house. Even my 15 month old loved it! I did, however, use a red wine and added sliced mushrooms in with the veggies, capers in with the olives, and about a tablespoon of red pepper flake. Absolutely delicious!!!

I like this basic recipe for Chicken Cacciatore, I only wish I could cook it on an open fire in the Tuscan countryside. Just 2 comments, you list red wine such as Chianti in the ingredients, but say white wine in the recipe. Also, You do not mention when to add the bay leaves.
