  • Juice of 3 oranges
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, optional
  • Small handful fresh mint, leaves picked and chopped

Directions

Chop the strawberries and add to a large bowl with the blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Add the orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, if using, and mint. Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator to marinate for at least a couple of hours.

    This was really good. The only berries I used were strawberries, because the others were too expensive. I added fresh pineapple and cantelope. The citric juice, sugar and mint really made it tate good.

    Made it for my daughter's 4th b-day. The guests (even the other 3-4 year olds ate it all. Glad I doubled the recipe. Would make it more often, but berries are pricey, especially organic.

    I made this for my sister in law's 40th birthday, and everyone couldn't stop talking about how good it was and we ate the whole bowl...which I had doubled. It was sooo good! I forgot the mint, which I can imagine only enhances these berries more, but it was still super delicious without it.
