I made this almost exactly as written, but subbed grapes for the blueberries. Initially I thought the fresh mint was going to be good, but if anything, i think it overpowered the taste of the fruit. I have have had macedonia in Italy, and was hoping this would be it, but it was very different. I will keep searching. I think the version I prefer has liquor in it. I also think the lemon was a bit too acidic...

This was really good. The only berries I used were strawberries, because the others were too expensive. I added fresh pineapple and cantelope. The citric juice, sugar and mint really made it tate good.

Made it for my daughter's 4th b-day. The guests (even the other 3-4 year olds ate it all. Glad I doubled the recipe. Would make it more often, but berries are pricey, especially organic.

I made this for my sister in law's 40th birthday, and everyone couldn't stop talking about how good it was and we ate the whole bowl...which I had doubled. It was sooo good! I forgot the mint, which I can imagine only enhances these berries more, but it was still super delicious without it.

This fruit salad was a hit. Everyone loved it and asked for seconds. I added a few lemon balm leaves as well.
