Directions

Slice the tomatoes into 1/2-inch thick slices. Generously season the tomato slices
with salt. Arrange the tomato slices on a platter, overlapping slightly. Add the Burrata on top and garnish with torn basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

    I love Caprese especially with our own heirloom tomatoes. It will be at least 4 months before we have any home grown tomatoes here in WNY. The episode where you and the girls made homemade mozzarella showed me that it was easy to make. This summer we will be having lots of Caprese and the basil will be coming from our herb garden and Heirloom tomatoes from our vegetable garden!
