    First of all, I just love Debi and her hubby, Gabriele. When I saw this episode, I got inspired to make true, authentic Bolognese sauce. I set that as one of my culinary goals for the year...to learn how to make Bolognese. It always seemed so daunting as authentic Bolognese sauce takes HOURS to simmer but it is worth every minute. I just made a HUGE pot of this sauce and I am blown away. It is hearty but subtle at the same time. It is an elegant sauce! WINNER!!

    I have tried many Lasagna recipes. Some were amazing, however this is the very best Lasagna I have ever eaten. Gabriele you are amazing. Step aside Giada. More More More of Extra Virgin

    Best Ever!!! A+++ This one beat my mother-in-law's recipe and that's saying a lot! Served for Christmas 2011 and prepared it today for Father's day. So much better and lighter than all the traditional recipe's. Love your show Debi and Gabriele. I could hear your voices in the way the recipe was written. "This is an important moment..." I even inserted your accent! Bravo!

    OMG!! Gabrielle- this was so like my mother's lasagne-- sono Marchigiana ma.. seriously , this recipe was so much like home- my family loved it- it will be our new Sunday pasta--grazie mille
    P.S. for 15 minutes I DID constantly WHISK the besciamella ....

    It took a while to prepare but it was worth it! Loved it because I always want lasagne but I HATE ricotta cheese. So it was the perfect recipe for me.

    HOLY WOW! This is by far the BEST lasagne recipe I have ever made. The lack of cheese might cause someone to question, but the creamy bechamel is SOOO outrageous and tasty.... I make this for family and friends and it's always a hit.

    Dear Gabriele and Debi:

    This was so good and so much lighter than the traditional lasagne I used to make. This is now my favorite recipe and has replaced my heavier version, and I LOVED the no-boil noodles. So much easier to use. Thanks again for a wonderful recipe and making my dinner party that I served your lasagne recipe at a total success. Everyone enjoyed the lasagne so much and raved how good it was. I could only take credit for cooking it, but told everyone how wonderful your recipes are and they should watch your show, like I do. Your show is now one of my favorites on The Cooking Channel and I look forward to every Sunday at noon to watch you and get more great ideas and recipes.

    Best lasagna ever! Love all the thin layers and how all the flavors work together. Tastes just as good out of the freezer. Takes some time but its well worth the effort. Extra bolognese is great plain over pasta too. My go to lasagna from now on. Grazie mille Gabriele e Debi! :

    I absolutely loved the bolognese sauce! It was really, really good, and had great flavors. However, when I put it into the lasagna with the beschamel, I felt the lasagna was too creamy and not acidic enough for my taste. I will definitely be using the bolognese and beschamel recipes individually, but not together.
