DELISH! Grown up cookies, to be sure, not too sweet. I also had oranges, and substituted the zest and juice of one orange on the second batch. They were even better! I also think the lemon would be good with a 1/2 tsp of almond extract, next time I will do that.

These madeleines turned out beautifully. Not only did we dust them with powdered sugar after they came out of the oven, we also dipped them half way in melted chocolate. This was my sister's idea, as I am not into super sweet desserts. That's why these are perfect for me not too sweet and even better with a hot cup of coffee with some Baileys liquor ;
