    Lovely cookies with great flavor. The sweetness of the apricots matched the bite of the amaretto nicely. The cookie itself is very much like a shortbread in texture. I didn't have any pine nuts, so I subbed in some chopped filberts, and I don't think anything was lost in doing do. These cookies are definitely going into the cookie rotation.

    Nice cookie. A bit different from what I usually make. I thought the dough was a bit sticky when it came time to slice and bake but I think that might've been from the apricots. Next time I will cut down on the confectioners sugar and amaretto for the icing. The recipe made way more than I needed.

    I don't know if they were supposed to be low cal or ok to eat when you are on a diet but they should be allowed. They were not sweet (except for the icing and it was a wonderful "cookie and cappuccino" kind of snack. The whole family enjoyed them and they went fast.
