I just made these today and these were AMAZING!!! My mom literally had to ask me if I made these or were they store bought lol. I loved the incorporation of the lemon and orange zest (for more pop I did add a bit more orange essence. I definitely loved the advice of the moistening the hands before molding them as it did help with the sticky dough. I love that it was minimal ingredients yet full of flavor. I am definitely saving this recipe to make for an outing in the future where coffee is involved!

I added 4 tablespoons of softened butter, 1/2 cup cut (not chopped toasted almonds and 1/4 cup chopped citron. Perfect summer biscotti especially when dipped in iced espresso!
