I made these a few years ago. The cookies are less than ordinary. When they go downhill is the addition of Hershey's Kisses that are cheap awful chocolate. Around Halloween it is impossible to find orange sprinkles or such. I made trips to about seven stores for orange decorations and the kisses. All a waste of time but they were not expensive to make as the reviewer mentioned if they were not tossed out.

I have made these cookies several times for family gatherings. I do not add the chocolate kiss on top. To keep the cost reasonable ( Nutella and Hershey Kisses bring the cost of this cookie up! I have drizzled melted chocolate on them after they have baked and cooled. I have also rolled them in chocolate sprinkles prior to baking them. Both variations were a big hit. You really don't need the "kiss" on top.
Besides, that reminded me of the peanut butter blossoms and this cookie is in a league above the blossoms. They also hold their freshness for a long time in an air tight container. Delicious!
