After watching the episode, I just had to try these pancakes. I made them exactly as the recipe instructed and they turned out perfect. Everyone loved them. In the future I'll make them with pork tenderloin and sautéed mushrooms, with some mushroom sauce over it, it should make a delicious dinner.

I have made this dish before and everyone thought it was "To Die For"
Great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or appetizer.

The day before food shopping day usually leaves me short on ingredients, so I made plans to serve brinner (breakfast for dinner. I had just enough potatoes and cheese to make this warm and comforting potato pancake. The onion, basil, and Parmesan cheese combined for a burst of delicious flavors. It was a great compliment to the scrambled eggs and bacon I had also cooked up. Next time I would use a non-stick pan. I used my regular pan and had trouble with the potatoes sticking so I had to turn the pancake in portions instead of one flip. I could also see making small individual round pancakes instead of one large one.
