Near perfection, but just too tweak it a bit next time I may add a pinch of red pepper flake extra basil and less cheese. Great lenten dinner if you sub veggie broth in place of the chicken stock

Oh, this was just what we needed one summer afternoon. Easy to prepare and was enjoyed by my guests. This is a keeper.

This recipe brings out the fresh simple flavors of sweet tomatoes and peas with slightly crunchy asparagus. The pasta adds a touch of heartiness to the dish without being heavy. The Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic and pepper are the simple add-in flavors that pull the dish together. I served it with grilled chicken. I used yellow sweet 'snacking' tomatoes since I had those on hand. These tomatoes are uniquely sweet and worked out perfectly with this recipe. I especially enjoyed how little time it took to make this dish.
