When I saw this strata on the show I wanted to taste it so bad...so I wnet shopping for the ingredients. It came out mushy, wet, and not sweet enough. It is the first desert ever that is not edible! The only good thing about this strata is that I saved the ciabata crust, so actually I ate that with butter and blueberry preserve after this recipe left me disappointed. Usually my dishes dont come out exactly as the recipe, but never to the point I cannot even eat it. I want reembursement, please!

Really great with a couple modifications: the second time I made this i used two small bags of frozen peaches instead of strawberries and I thought it was MUCH better. I didn't love the cinnamon/strawberry combination as much as the peaches. I would also recommend using alot more fruit than listed in the recipe. Will make this again!

I made this wonderfully warm strata recipe on a chilly spring day. It looked beautiful coming out of the oven with the browned crust peaks rising over the red strawberries. The texture had crunch just where it was needed and creaminess to balance it out. The sweetness is subdued which is nice because a person can add a sprinkle of sugar or other sweetener to adjust the taste. This dish would be delicious served for a Spring brunch.
