This soup was incredibly easy to make and intensely delicious. The cheddar and sage bread added such a new take on the usual onion soup. If you can, save yourself some tears and have the family help chop up the onions and cry together!! I used a ton of different onions, leeks and shallots. This was the best onion soup I have ever tasted!!

I GAVE IT 4 STARS, EVEN THOUGH I HEVEN' TRIED IT YET. I LOVE FRENCH ONION SOUP, BUT THE VARIATIONS JAMIE HAS INTRODUCED, I BELIEVE IT WILL BE A VERY WELCOME CHANGE/VARIATION FRON THE TRIED AND TRUE FRENCH. I'LL TRY IT SOON, AND THEN, IT'LL EITHER BE A 5 STAR, OR A 3 STAR. NONETHELESS, I'M BETTING ON JAMIE
