Very yummy! I usually serve my vegetables very plain...just steamed...so this was quite a treat. I will probably use a little less butter/olive oil next time. Chopping the almonds is great...definitely distributes them throughout. I will definitely make these again. I love the idea of blanching and prepping ahead of time then only having to sauté to finish them off.

Light and refeshing side dish. A nice change from the usual southern-style green beans. I will definitely make them again"

These really make green beans special! With a huge Easter dinner to prepare I blanched these the day before and had everything else ready. Warmed my butter mixture and sauteed the beans right before we sat down and then added the grated lemon, juice and almonds. Yum, the citrus was a nice touch!
