Great recipe. I used chicken thighs, 1/4 t. Celery seed, sage infused sea-salt and added the peas right before baking. No pre-boiling. They stayed firm and green. Very tasty.

This is nice basic recipe, but I would never use peas as they tend to loose their beautiful green color and get that dull gray-green color. You actually have better luck using green onions for some of the green color. Take out a little of the chopped onion or add a little thinly sliced and lightly sauteed, leek for flavor.

Thought it was good but a lil too much on the celery seed. I would leave out the celery seed altogether, it has enough celery to get the flavor from that.

I have made this several times now and I love it! It is easy and quick to make as well as delicious. The only change I made was substituting potatoes for the celery as my daughter doesn't like celery. I baked three medium potatoes in the microwave, then peeled and cubed them.

I made this to use up leftover grilled chicken. I made a couple of changes, didn’t use a pie crust instead sprayed a casserole dish & put the mix in it, baked almost the required time then lowered the temp. put biscuits on top then baked the required time. Other changes were, used the broth for step 2 then drained in a bowl & used it as listed. Also added asparagus had to use it up. Very good. Great to put your own spin on it. Good use for leftovers. Thanks.

Delicious!!!! I have been making pot pies for years and this one is much better than mine! I would not change a thing with this recipe. Thank you, Kelsey.
