So delicious! My niece and nephews love these muffins! Everyone in my family say that they are a hit. I made a small change in the recipe and I am now happier with the end result. I add the stick of butter at room temp instead of melted. I get the berries at the farmers market, what a truly delightful comfort food!

These muffins were ridiculously good! They were surprisingly big muffins too. They aren't going to last long in our house!

These muffins were great. I am not sure the other reviewerd understood that this is more of a bread like muffin than a fluffy bouncy one, hence the dryness to the mix. If you use an Ice-cream scoop to put the batter in the cups they come out perfect! I did add a tiny bit of almond extract to counter the tartness of the blueberries and lemon zest. This helped all the flavors bind and marry. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly and they were gone in a day!

This recipe looked simple and easy and I liked it because I didn't need lots of ingredients. However...making the batter was a challenge because there was not enough moisture! I substituted full-fat yogurt for the sour cream and the batter was dry and crumbly - I could NOT have baked this into muffins. So I added almond milk and a few tablespoons of agave syrup until it looked like muffin batter. Also had to add vanilla extract. This recipe was lousy on its own, but with these additions it comes out really nice.

These muffins looked so good in the actual episode I couldn't wait to make them. I followed the recipe exactly and felt the batter was a little too thick after I finished mixing all the ingredients together but I kept on going. These muffins were dry and bland tasting. There's only a hint of lemon in the background, definitely lacking full flavor. I've had better at a Dunkin Donuts and I hate store bought muffins.
