    I made this just as the recipe said and it come out creamier than I am use to, I was looking for something thicker and not as soupy as this, I think next time I will add some flower to thicken it up, but the flavor was real good I wouldn't change that at all.

    Simple, easy to make, and delicious. The garlic, onion and thyme give it just enough flavorings to keep it from being bland but don't overpower the potato and cheese flavor, which is exactly what potatoes au gratin are supposed to taste like. Both my husband and 11 year old loved it, so this is definitely a keeper.

    so easy, so delicious! i made a few slight changes- i did layers of potatoes and cheese(just two and instead of adding thyme i used fresh chives. i will use this recipe over and over!!
