A tip--use an angel food (tube) pan and place the ear of corn on top of the tube when cutting off the kernels. They will all fall into the pan below and not fly around everywhere all over your table!

    The recipe sounds great!
I have a corn allergy and also milk allergies.
Can I replace the corn with chocolate and the milk with Coca Cola?

My wife was pleasantly surprised to have a creamed corn with an actual dairy product in it!! Seriously, here in New England, creamed corn is not something we do a lot of, but I like the concept. This recipe is delicious--don't alter it, and don't overcook it like I did (I went 8 hours and it still came out good. This recipe is a definite do again. Goes great with pork.
