Ingredients

  • 1 cup/225 g brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup/70 g butter
  • 1/4 cup/60 ml corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup/75 ml heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch salt

Directions

Bring the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to a boil in a saucepan and simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Whisk in the cream, vanilla and salt. Use as topping on your favorite dessert or fruit.
