Directions

Heat the oven to 325 degrees F/160 degrees C.

Put the chocolate in a bowl. Bring the cream, milk and sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from the heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring to melt. (Be sure to give it enough time: you don't want little bits floating around in there.) Break the egg and yolk into a bowl. Gradually whisk the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, taking care to not to scramble the eggs. Strain the mixture into the baked tart shell. Bake until set, about 20 minutes. Cool completely.

I would love to make this soon, but I'm just curious as to the brand of chocolates Laura is using. I know she said she used " a really special chocolate for this one" , but i couldn't catch the brand or cocoa content. Anyone have any suggestions??? Thank you1!!

Super easy and minor ingredients. That is how I love French recipes to be. I am making these for two friends of mine so I did not eat the tart but of course I tasted the filling before baking and mmmmm. I love using dark chocolate for baking. This is a simple recipe which turned out looking elegant. I know they will love it....who doesn't love a chocolate dessert? I will definitely make again and again I think it looks so classy but it is a simple recipe!
