The coconut flan is really good, however, directions for caramel to go in bottom of pan before puttingin flan mixture are not clear enough. How big of a spoonful of water do you put into melt nd carmalize the sugar? I tried twice to no avail because didn't know exact measurement of water. Had to hunt and hunt for another recipe similar to know how to do the caramel. What I found was much more specific and would have saved me a lot of time. 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup corn syrup and 1/2 cup water. Then I proceeded with the recipe and it turned out great! It was delicious! I would totally make it again! Just wanted you to be aware that directions for the caramel need to be more specific.
